XJ01(WQJ3) auto transformer starter Auto-transformer starter is to connect the auto-transformer to stator winding for reducing the starting voltage,and will be excinded after starting.auto-transformer lead out one or more tapping to reduce the starting voltage. This kind of starter usual have two different tappings,(65%.80%),As the starter start, the voltage of stator winding is the second voltage, and when the starting finish the auto-transformer will be connected in short circuit.Then the rated voltage will be added to stator winding directly, the motor is in full voltage working.
